This Nikon 35mm f1.8 G ED AF-S Nikkor lens is a high performing autofocus lens ideal for lowlight situations and producing sharp, highly detailed images. It features both ED and AS glass elements for optimum performance and has a fast f1.8 maximum aperture.
This is a G-type lens that lacks the manual aperture ring and is best suited for DSLR and AF film bodies where aperture is controlled electronically through the body of the camera. They operate similarly to D lenses via the communication of distance info to the camera's light meter for more accurate TTL ambient and flash exposure.
This lens has a 58mm filter thread.
