The Canon Demi EE17 is a 35mm half-frame camera produced in the mid 1960s. The camera features a 30mm f1.7 manual focus lens and produces an 18x24mm image on 35mm film, creating up to 72 exposures per roll. The Demi EE17 has manual focus controls but lacks a rangefinder, requiring setting distance via a scale on the lens barrel or a handy pictorial zone system in the camera finder. Apertures can be adjusted between f1.7 to f16. Shutter speeds are also set manually, with settings for Bulb and 1/8-1/500. The Demi EE17 has an improved CdS light meter that allows the camera to be capable of shutter priority auto exposure.
