The Topcon Super DM is the successor to the previous Topcon Super D camera. It features in-viewfinder display of the set aperture on the lens. It has the same shutter release mechanism located on the face of the camera as previous Topcon cameras. Shutter speeds are mechanical and range from 1 second to 1/1000, plus Bulb. Flash sync is done at 1/60th. The camera has a TTL CdS meter. There is a mechanical self-timer, depth of field preview and mirror lock-up. The Super DM could be fitted with a motor drive. The focusing screen is interchangeable and is currently a horizontal split prism screen.
This camera has new light seals and mirror shock pad as of September 2021. The meter is active but not tested for accuracy. It is likely still calibrated for 1.3v mercury cells and would need to be recalibrated for modern 1.5v batteries.
