The Leitz Visoflex III was the last in Leica's series of reflex housing units for the Leica rangefinder camera. The Visoflex allows through-the-lens viewing while using a Leica rangefinder. The Visoflex III is mounted to a Leica camera body and contains a reflex mirror beneath a focusing screen and either 90 degree or top-down eyepiece. Viewing is done through the reflex housing unit and when the camera is fired the mirror in the unit is simultaneously triggered.
