The Leica M39 to Leica M Mount lens mount adapter is designed for mounting M39 screw mount lenses to the Leica M2 and M3 cameras. This adapter will automatically adjust your rangefinder's frame lines to the 90mm setting.
While designed specifically for the M2 and M3 cameras, this adapter will work with most other Leica M film and digital cameras. Care must be taken however when adapting collapsible lenses to these cameras that the lens is not collapsed while on the camera otherwise the rear optic could impact with the digital sensor.
• This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
• Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode.
