The Koni-Omega M is a medium format, rangefinder camera produced as a joint venture between Konica and Simmons Omega. The Koni-Omega M was designed to excel in both versatility and rapid speed of use. The camera produces ten 6x7cm frames per roll of 120. It features interchangeable lens and film backs, as well as a combined viewfinder/rangefinder window that has automatic parallax correction. A notable characteristic of this series of cameras is the push/pull film advance plunger located on the side of the camera that facilitates very fast film advance. Known for durability, great lens quality and excellent film flatness the Koni-Omegas were popular cameras with professional portrait photographers through the 1960s and 70s.
