The Hasselblad 501CM is a modular 6x6 medium-format SLR camera system. It has the ability to change lenses, film backs, focusing screens, winder knobs and prisms to customize the camera to the user's needs or preferences. It also uses the legendary Carl Zeiss lenses, which produce superb images of amazing sharpness and clarity. The 501CM is a direct replacement of the earlier 501C and is virtually identical to that camera but with the addition of Hasselblad's gliding mirror mechanism that eliminates viewfinder vignetting with telephoto lenses. It is fully compatible with all 500 system lenses, film backs and finders.
