The Carl Zeiss 28mm f2.8 Distagon T* is a compact wide angle lens for the Contax/Yashica system of 35mm SLR cameras. Made by famed lens designer, Carl Zeiss, these lenses have a reputation for excellent image sharpness and contrast. The 28mm focal length is a great all-purpose wide angle lens that lends itself well to a variety of scenarios where a wider angle field of view is desired.
This is the "MM" version of the 28mm f2.8 Distagon, with the green f22 marking, which offers compatibility with Program and Shutter Priority exposure modes on the appropriate Contax or Yashica cameras.
