The Canon EOS Elan 7NE is a high end, autofocus, 35mm SLR camera produced by Canon in the early 2000s. For its time it was quite advanced and had features rivaling those found on DSLR cameras. Notably the Elan 7NE had an improved AF system that delivered some of the fastest one-shot AF speeds in its class. The 7NE also introduced Canon's E-TTL II flash metering system. When paired with EX-series Speedlite flashes, this new E-TTL system delivered even better flash metering. The 7NE is packed full of other features, including multiple metering modes, multiple exposure modes, a built-in flash, an up to 4 fps continuous shooting speed.
The EOS Elan 7NE also features Canon's unique Eye Control Focus system.
This camera requires two CR123A batteries for all functions.
