The Minolta 28mm f2.8 M-Rokkor is a compact wide angle lens originally built for the Leica/Minolta CL and CLE cameras. It has a Leica M lens mount though and can be used on any 35mm rangefinder camera that makes use of Leica M-mount lenses. It is a great wide angle to pair with a standard focal length 50mm lens. It does a remarkable job at encompassing wide scenes or for working in cramped, constrained quarters. The lens has an aperture range of f2.8-f22 and a minimum focusing distance of 0.8 meters (31 inches). It has a 40.5mm filter thread.
This lens has been professionally cleaned but is suffering moderate haze in its front optic group that could not be cleaned. This haziness will likely not impact sharpness but can cause increased flaring with reduced contrast.
