The Nikon L-F Adapter allows M39-mount lenses to be adapted onto Nikon F-mount SLR camera bodies. We suspect this adapter was originally intended for Leica M39 lenses designed for the Visoflex system to allow them to be shot on the Nikon F and still achieve infinity focus. While other Leica M39 lenses could be mounted to a Nikon F via this adapter they will function as macro lenses only. The adapter features a rotating collar with click stops every 90° and a thumbscrew for locking rotation.
