The Nikkormat FTN is a Nikon 35mm single lens reflex film camera designed to accept Nikon Non-AI lenses. The FTN is an improved model over the previous Nikkormat FT in that it has a center-weighted TTL meter that is compatible with full aperture reading. It also has a needle indicator inside the viewfinder, in addition to the one on top of the camera, for easier and faster light meter readings. There is an in-viewfinder display of shutter speeds as well as an improved film take-up spool. Overall, the FTN is a solid and reliable 35mm SLR camera.
