The Sekonic L-308S Flashmate is a pocket-sized digital light meter capable of ambient and flash metering. This handy meter is highly accurate, displaying readings in full, half or third stop increments to perfectly suit classic film SLR or modern DSLR cameras. Ambient light readings can be done with either the built-in incidental disc, or that can be slid aside to take reflective readings. Flash exposure can be calculated with either a cord-in flash unit or via cordless methods. The L-308S has an ambient EV range of 0 to 19.9. ISO can be set from 3 to 8,000. Selectable apertures run from f1.4 to f114.2 and shutter speeds from 60s to 1/8000 are available (or 1/8 to 1/8000 in Cine mode). This meter requires one AA battery for power.
