The Canon AE-1 is a 35mm single lens reflex camera designed to accept Canon FD mount lenses. The Canon AE-1 was introduced in 1976 - since then it has maintained its reputation as one of the most loved 35mm film cameras. It is built around a Shutter Priority auto exposure system which still allows the user to manually control all aspects of exposure. Other features include a self-timer, depth of field preview, dedicated hot shoe, and PC flash sync socket. The camera requires a 6v V28PX battery for all functions.
