The Mamiya C33 was released in 1965 and was the fourth camera in Mamiya's C-series line of medium format TLR cameras. Improvements introduced with the C33 (and retained on the C330) included a self-cocking shutter. Prior versions of this camera had a separate film advance, but for C33 users, advancing the film and re-cocking the shutter were combined. The C33 supports interchangeable lenses and has a bellows focusing system that allows very close focus with all lenses. The C33 also has interchangeable finders. Typically these cameras come with a waist level finder but a variety of prism and porrofinders can also be obtained and used. The C33 can use either 120 roll film or sheet film with the appropriate back.
