This Pentax ZX-30 is an autofocus, 35mm SLR camera. The camera is simple and easy to use while offering a versatile array of features. It has several exposure modes including Program (with scene-specific sub-modes), Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual. There is a built-in flash as well as a hot shoe for additional flashes.
This camera is best used with Pentax PK-AF lenses. Standard, manual focus, PK lenses will still mount but aperture will not stop down and they will be used at maximum aperture always.
The ZX-30 was also known as the MZ-30 in markets outside of North America.
