This Black Minolta X-7A is the international counterpart to Minolta's X-370, which was marketed in the US. The Minolta X-7A (aka the X-370 or X-300) camera is a Minolta 35mm single lens reflex film camera designed to accept the Minolta SR lens mount. The Minolta X-7A is a great camera for beginners and seasoned 35mm shooters alike. It enables to user to choose between aperture priority mode as well as full metered manual. The camera offers shutter speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/1000 and bulb mode. While not as feature-rich as other X-series Minolta cameras, the X-7A still offers an AE Lock switch, electronic self-timer and a threaded cable release socket.
Since the X-7A lacks Program auto exposure or Shutter Priority, it works equally well with both MC and MD variants of the Minolta SR lens mount.
The camera requires two SR44 batteries to function.
