This Nikon FG is a manual focus, 35mm SLR camera made by Nikon in the early 1980s.  It is a refinement of the earlier Nikon EM camera and was the first Nikon SLR to have Program auto exposure. The Nikon FG is also capable of Aperture Priority and Manual exposure modes. It has a focal plane shutter with top speed of 1/1000. While battery-dependent the FG's shutter also has a mechanical 1/90th speed in the event of battery failure. The FG is capable of automatic flash control with off-the-film metering. It can accept motor drives.
