Variable ND (neutral density) filters are neutral density filters with adjustable strengths, allowing the amount of exposure cutoff to be dialed in for a specific scene, lighting condition or need. They allow slightly longer to significantly longer exposure times. These filters feature a dual ring design where the filter is threaded onto a lens normally and a front ring is then rotated to control the strength of the filter.
The range of this Variable ND filter is ND2 (1 stop) up to ND400 (8.6 stops).
This filter has a 58mm filter thread and will fit all lenses with this thread diameter.
