This Carl Zeiss 35-70mm f3.4 Vario-Sonnar T* is an MM lens for Contax/Yashica mount and is compatible with Contax and Yashica 35mm SLR cameras, such as the Contax 159 MM and the Yashica FX-3, making full use of their program exposure modes. It is also backwards compatible with earlier Contax and Yashica SLR cameras.
This lens has a nice, smooth, one-touch zoom mechanism that allows quick changing of the focal length from a modestly wide angle 35mm out to a portrait focal length of 70mm. It has a fixed f3.4 max aperture throughout its zoom range and has an additional macro close focusing mode.
This lens comes with its Contax lens pouch, a Contax 67mm P-Filter and Contax lens cap.
