The Pentax PZ-10 (also marketed as just the Pentax Z-10 in North America) is an autofocus, 35mm SLR film camera that uses Pentax KAF2-mount autofocus lenses. It is also backward compatible with earlier Pentax K-mount lenses.
The Pentax PZ-10 is capable of either full manual exposure control, as well as Program AE. It also has a nifty feature referred to as HyM, or Hyper Manual. In this mode, exposure is controlled manually but with the press of a button the camera temporarily switches to a mode similar to aperture priority and automatically changes the shutter speed for correct exposure based on the aperture that has been manually selected. The camera then reverts back to full manual control when the button is released. Other features of the PZ-10 include a multi (6)-segment metering pattern, as well as a spot metering mode, electronic self-timer, a "Zoom Clip" mode that stores a set zoom value and allows compatible lenses to instantly return to that focal length with the press of a button, and a built-in pop-up flash that can work alongside a hotshoe-mounted flash.
This Pentax PZ-10 comes as a kit with a Pentax 50mm f1.7 SMC Pentax-F lens.
