The Sankyo Koki 35mm f2.5 W-Komura is a moderate wide-angle lens for M42 screwmount cameras such as the Pentax Spotmatic. This lens has a preset aperture ring, not an automatic aperture diaphragm.  The aperture needs to be stopped down manually prior to exposure.  The benefit to this is that the aperture can be closed in a smooth, clickless manner possibly making this an interesting lens for use in filming.

The optics on this lens show signs of wear and haze.  The lens will probably be fine for many shooting situations, especially as a budget lens, but may flare and ghost more in strong, direct lighting.
