The Plaubel Makina 670 is a folding, medium format rangefinder camera. It uses 120 film to create ten 6x7cm frames per roll. The Makina 670 has a non-interchangeable Nikkor 80mm f2.8 lens that is one of the sharpest lenses you can get on a medium format camera in terms of resolution. It really is an excellent lens that delivers tons of detail and has remarkably little flare. The Makina 670 has a built-in light meter that is triggered via a button on the back of the camera body. It has a combined viewfinder/rangefinder window with focusing done via a knob on the top of the camera. Since the Makina 670 has a leaf shutter, the top speed on the camera is 1/500 but flash sync can happen at any speed. When not in use, the front standard holding the lens collapses into the body of the camera making this the most compact 6x7 camera ever made.
The Makina 670 is nearly identical to the Makina 67 and differs only in its ability to use 220 film as well as 120.
