The Olympus Pen EE-3 is a half-frame fixed-lens viewfinder camera. It is a very compact and lightweight camera. As the third entry in Olympus' EE series of half-frame cameras (EE stands for Electronic Eye - a selenium cell light meter that surrounded the front optic of the camera) the EE-3 was only a mild improvement over the previous EE-2 model. Introduced in 1973 and manufactured until 1983, the EE-3 offered improved flash compatibility when paired with specific flash units. Other features of the EE-3 include an electronic hot shoe and an automatic exposure counter. The camera is fitted with a D.Zuiko 28mm f3.5 lens.
