The Arriflex 35 IIB is a 35mm motion picture camera and is part of a series of motion picture cameras prized by the likes of George Lucas and Stanley Kubrick. The IIB version was released around 1958-1960 and featured an improved transport claw design. Other features are consistent with earlier Arriflex 35 cameras including a rotating 3-lens turret using the Arri Standard lens mount, variable speed motor built into the base of the camera and capable of speeds up to 80 fps (with the right accessory) and a spinning reflex twin-bladed mirror design that allowed the operator to see the image through the lens as it was being recorded onto film, albeit with an image flicker.
We have not tested this unit, though it came with purchase receipts from 2017 stating that the camera was in full working order at that time. This camera does NOT include a power source (a big reason why we have not tested it). It is presumed fully functional but is not warranted.
