The Polaris SPD100 is a handheld ambient/flash light meter. It is a compact light meter at budget pricing that has several very useful features. A large LCD screen allows easy reading of settings and measurements on the face of the meter. A sliding light panel allows for either ambient or reflective meter readings while a PC-socket provides direct syncing with flash units. The SPD100 has a nifty feature that gives the user the ability to calculate how many flash bursts will be needed for proper exposure at a desired f-stop.
This meter requires one AA battery for power.
