This Leica 35mm f2 Summicron "8-element" is often referred to as the Version 1 of the 35mm f2 Summicron line. It was produced during the 1950's-1960's and offers a moderately wide angle focal length with fast f2 maximum aperture to Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras.
This version has the additional "goggles" designed to adapt Leica viewfinder windows that did not natively support 35mm focal lengths, such as the Leica M3.
This item has been fully serviced by Don Goldberg, aka DAG Camera Repair. Trained by Leitz and repairing cameras for over 40 years, DAG is considered the best and most trustworthy place to have Leica equipment serviced. A camera or lens that has been serviced by Goldberg is guaranteed to be in top functional shape.
