The Leica CM Zoom is a premium compact 35mm camera produced in the mid-2000s. It is a version of the Leica CM featuring a Leica 35-70mm f3.5-6.5 Vario-Elmar zoom lens. In some ways the CM Zoom resembles the Leica Minilux Zoom in that it is designed to operate mainly as an autofocus camera with Program auto exposure but has a manual focus mode to go along with Aperture Priority auto exposure in order to give the user more manual override capabilities. It features a built-in electronic flash, an additional hot shoe, EV compensation and an electronic self-timer mode.
