This Palliard Bolex H16-S is a beautiful motion picture camera made by Bolex in Switzerland. The H-16S uses standard 16mm cine film, loaded into the camera via spools. It has a lens turret capable of holding three C-mount lenses, variable frame rates including 12, 16, 18, 24, 32, and 48 frames per second, and an automatic threading and looping system to make loading easier. The H-16S also added a filter slot in the lens turret for introducing gel filters behind the lens for use in filming. Later models introduced a flat base.
