The Reality So Subtle 6x6 is a medium format pinhole camera designed and built by Irish pinhole camera designer James Guerin. It produces twelve 6x6cm images on a roll of 120 film. It has a finely made, precise pinhole that renders incredibly sharp images despite the lack of a glass optic.
This Reality So Subtle 6x6 is fitted with dual pinholes. One is centered in the camera body producing standard, wide angle pinhole images. A second pinhole is located above center, allowing an upward angle of view without tilting the camera, effectively recreating the "rise" function of large format cameras and allowing pinhole images free of converging vertical lines.
It has an effective aperture of f137 and a focal length of a mere 20.5mm, giving this camera an exceptionally wide angle field of view.
