The Canon Demi is a 35mm half-frame camera produced in the early to mid 1960s. The camera features a 28mm f2.8 manual focus lens and produces an 18x24mm image on 35mm film, creating up to 72 exposures per roll. The Demi has manual focus controls but lacks a rangefinder, requiring setting distance via a scale on the lens barrel. Apertures can be adjusted between f2.8 to f22. Shutter speeds are also set manually, with settings for Bulb and 1/30-1/250, relying on a match needle, selenium cell meter on top of the camera to determine the correct position on the shutter dial for accurate exposure.
