This Nikon 500mm f8 Reflex-Nikkor-C Lens is prime lens designed in the Nikon F Non-AI lens mount. It is appropriate for cameras without an Auto Indexing (AI tab), such as the Nikon F, some F2 bodies, some Nikkormats, and some Nikon digital cameras. Mirror lenses are extremely compact because rather than having a series of glass optics to achieve its focal length they use mirrors. These lenses have fixed apertures and create a unique out of focus area due to the lens having a mirror in its center.
