The Nikon N70 is a mid-range autofocus SLR camera. It has many of the same features of higher end Nikon SLR cameras such as the N90 while at a lower price point and is better built than the more consumer-directed SLRs like the N50. Some of the N70s features include multiple AF modes (single shot and continuous predictive), AF spot selection (wide area or single spot), focus tracking, drive mode (up to 3.7 fps of continuous firing), several metering options (eight-segment Matric, center-weighted and spot), 3D Multi-Sensor Balanced Fill Flash using either the camera's built-in flash or a compatible flash attached in the hot shoe, and not last nor least several different exposure modes ranging from Program AE to full metered Manual (as well as both aperture and shutter priority). The focal plane shutter on the N70 is capable of speeds up to 1/4000 with flash sync at 1/125. Overall the Nikon N70 can be a great fit for a wide variety of photographers, be they beginning or student photographers, dedicated amateurs or even artistic or professional film shooters.
This camera requires two CR123 lenses for all functions.
