The Nikon N6000 (also known as the F-601M) is a 35mm manual focus SLR camera that uses Nikon F-mount lenses. While it may look and act like its autofocus cousin, the Nikon 6006, this camera lacks autofocus capability, making it a notable and peculiar camera based on its other advanced features, such as Nikon's Matrix evaluative metering system and automated film advance.
The N6000 also features several different exposure modes, from full manual to full program, with shutter and aperture priority modes as well. It can read the DX code on film cans to set film speed automatically. It has various drive modes for single frame or continuous shooting. And there is much more. The N6000 is a highly capable, inexpensive SLR camera, but one that will require manual focusing of its lenses.
This camera does not have autofocusing capability: please see description below.
