The Nikon F100 is a 35mm SLR camera introduced in 1999. It is a well-built, incredibly versatile camera that has much of the cutting edge film camera technology of its time. It has advanced matrix metering technology working off of a 10-segment light sensor and is even capable of reading distance information from Nikon AF-D and AF-G lenses for increased metering accuracy. The F100 offers a center-weighted or spot metering modes in addition to matrix metering. The F100 is capable of fast and accurate autofocusing. It has a built-in motor drive that can fire as many as 4.5 fps as well as automatically rewind film. Exposure can be done in full manual, program auto exposure, shutter priority or aperture priority modes. The F100 has a ton of other features and options, including but not limited to: multiple exposures, auto exposure bracketing, exposure compensation, many adjustable custom functions, DX-code reading, rear curtain flash sync, and electronic self-timer. This truly is a high level SLR that will do anything you ask of it.
