The Voigtlander 12mm f5.6 Aspherical Ultra Wide-Heliar lens is an ultra-wide fisheye manual focus lens which is suitable for use on cameras which use the Leica M39 screw mount. Because the front element protrudes too far for traditional filters to be mounted, this lens comes with a built-in lens hood.
This lens has a native M39 thread mount and works great on Leica and Voigtlander rangefinder cameras that use this mount. It should be noted that this first version has no rangefinder coupling and must be focused manually off the distance scale on the lens. But given how naturally deep this lens' depth of field is, getting your subjects in focus will not be an issue.
