This Canon 2x-B Extender is a 2x teleconverter for Canon FD mount lenses. It is meant to be used with any Canon FD lenses that have focal lengths shorter than 300mm, including zoom lenses with 200mm in their range. When used with these lenses the effective focal length of the lens is doubled while minimum focusing distance is maintained, with the loss of two stops of light.  As an example, the Extender 2x-B on a 200mm f2.8 lens converts it to a 400mm f5.6.
