The Rolleiflex SLX is an electronically-controlled medium format system camera that Rollei introduced in 1977. It features interchangeable lenses, finders and focusing screens. It uses film inserts for quickly loading of film between rolls but does not offer mid-roll changing of film backs. The SLX can expose in either a shutter priority mode or a non-metered manual mode. When in shutter priority the camera uses a center weighted metering pattern. The SLX lenses contain an electronic leaf shutter with a top speed of 1/500 and flash sync at all speeds. The SLX also has an integrated motor drive capable of continuous firing as fast as 1.5 fps.
