A 20x24" fiber based darkroom print.
No printing method will ever match the glory and profound beauty of a hand-crafted "wet" print. Our darkroom prints are enlarged, tray-processed and finished completely by hand.
Every one of our black and white darkroom prints is produced to meet HABS photography guidelines, as required by the Library of Congress. This criteria is the gold standard for archivability in printed materials.
Our darkroom staff will use their years of experience applying techniques such as split filter printing and dodging & burning to deliver the best print possible.
All prints produced at Blue Moon Camera have gone through several layers of quality control and are fully finished - including flattening and hand-spotting - before leaving our lab.
20x24 fiber darkroom prints require a $100 setup fee; this setup fee is charged once per order, no matter how many prints are ordered.
In other words, we charge $200 for the first print and $100 for each additional 20x24.
Ilford Matte and Glossy surfaces are available.
