A 5x7 optical proof from a 35mm negative on color paper, at time of developing.
This service only applies when printing every negative from an uncut roll of 35mm film. For prints from select negatives please refer to "Color Optical Enlargment - 5x7"
This print is available on a matte or glossy surface.
Optical prints are made by projecting light through your negative onto light-sensitive photopaper. The equipment we use to make your prints are minilab machines that were built in the late eighties and early nineties. These machines, affectionately named Nora and Ray, have been cared for by our small, dedicated and passionate staff in order to keep optical printing alive.
Our optical prints are made by a skilled technicians with years of experience making technical and artistic decisions for each image. They optimize your prints based on several factors including lighting conditions, skin tone, and the overall mood so that each print looks the best it possibly can.
All prints produced at Blue Moon Camera have gone through several layers of quality control and are fully finished - including hand-spotting - before leaving our lab.
