We provide full overhauls and refurbishing of nearly any mechanical, and some electric typewriters.  The machines are thoroughly cleaned, fully adjusted, fitted with fresh ribbons and warrantied for three months.  We estimate most overhauls at $150, though price can vary.  The standard turnaround time is about 3 months.

We use Ace Typewriter for all of our typewriter repair work.  Ace is a father-son business founded in a garage in 1958 until it moved to its current location in 1961.  Ace is now run by Matt McCormack, who has been doing typewriter repair his entire adult life, having been taught everything by his father Dennis.
