Lomography Color 100 is a standard, general purpose color negative film distributed by Lomographic Corp. It is unclear what the origins of Lomography Color 100 are but they are likely tied in some fashion to Kodak as the packaging is marked "Made in USA", though it is possible the film is sourced from other parts of the globe and finished or packaged in the USA. It is also possible that the 35mm and 120 versions are different films, though we have not been able to verify this ourselves.
Lomography Color 100 is a surprisingly vibrant film, with crisp contrast and bright colors. It seems to handle all colors equally well from vibrant grass to fiery fall foliage. In fact, in a lot of ways Lomography Color 100 (in 35mm at least) reminds us of Ektar, including the reddish, oversaturated skin tones it seems to produce.
Lomography Color 100 should no longer be considered a budget film since its prices have climbed to match those of most Kodak Professional film stocks, but at the same time it is of surprisingly good quality. If you like a crisp and vibrant color film, then a roll of Lomography Color 100 in 35mm is well worth a shot.
