Rollei Infrared is a 400 ISO Infrared sensitive black and white film in 120 format. It has an extended red sensitivity up to 820nm in the near IR range of the spectrum. That allows this film to be used with infrared filters such as the Hoya R72 to effect true IR b&w photography. Rollei Infrared also enjoys fairly fine grain, versatile ISO 400 film speed, good sharpness and above average contrast. Rollei Infrared has an integrated anti-halation base that prevents haloing around highlights sometimes seen on infrared film. If this effect is desired, Rollei Infrared can be overexposed a couple of stops to produce halos around highlights.
