The Reality So Subtle 6x12 is a medium format pinhole camera designed and built by Irish pinhole camera designer James Guerin. This 6x12 version was redesigned in 2024 to include a third central pinhole, filter holder, and improved ergonomics.
It produces six 6x12cm images on a roll of 120 film. It has a finely made, precise pinhole that renders incredibly sharp images despite the lack of a glass optic. The Reality So Subtle 6x12 has a curved film plane that prevents exposure fall off at the left and right edges of the image, allowing even exposure across the entire panoramic frame.
