The Reality So Subtle 6x17 is a medium format pinhole camera designed and built by Irish pinhole camera designer James Guerin. This 6x17 version was redesigned in 2024 to include a third central pinhole, filter holder, and improved ergonomics.
It produces six 6x17cm images on a roll of 120 film. It has a finely made, precise pinhole that renders incredibly sharp images despite the lack of a glass optic. The Reality So Subtle 6x17 has a curved film plane that prevents exposure fall off at the left and right edges of the image, allowing even exposure across the entire panoramic frame.

It has an effective aperture of f233 and a 70mm focal length with a field of view of 141 degrees.
