Arca Swiss F-Classic 4x5
The Arca-Swiss F-Classic 4x5 is a professional, modular monorail view camera known for its precision, rigidity, and relatively lightweight design, making it a popular choice for both studio and field use. It is a highly versatile 4x5 camera suitable for professionals and amateurs alike.
The F-Classic features gear-driven focus with an inboard locking knob, and manual, friction-based rise/fall, swing and base tilt provided on both the front and rear standards of the camera. The camera is designed to be "yaw-free," ensuring that once the camera is leveled, base tilts do not introduce unwanted swing.
Movements include manual rise/fall of +85 mm on both standards, lateral shift of +/- 50 mm, and base tilts of +/- 35°.
The camera is highly expandable; it can be converted to 5x7 or 8x10 formats by swapping format sets and bellows. The standard F-Classic features a 30cm telescoping rail with two 15cm monorail units, suitable for focal lengths from 150 mm to 360 mm with standard synthetic bellows.
