Rollei RPX 25 - 35mm
Rollei RPX 25 is an ultra-slow, panchromatic black and white film with an ISO of 25. It boasts super fine grain, high resolution, and excellent sharpness. When paired with an high acutance developer, such as Rodinal, it can produce negatives with incredible amounts of detail. Additionally, it is known for having high contrast, which results in deep black shadows and bright highlights, producing a dramatic look.
The film was introduced around 2014 as part of the Rollei RPX family of black and white films, including RPX 100 and RPX 400. RPX 25, however, has a look that is fairly different from its higher speed siblings.
Rollei RPX 25 is coated on a thin PET base that dries very flat and is well suited to scanning. It's clear, polyester base also makes Rollei RPX 25 an excellent candidate for reversal processing into B&W slides.
